Good job on the focus; watch your composition though; there's a tree growing out of his head in #1!

Damned head-trees!! And here I've been making sure not to water and fertilize his hats.

I've been having a great time attempt "action" shots with this manual focus lens.

jake, they look good except for the tree. #2 seems the least candid to me. For some reason it seems posed compared to the others. #3 is probably my favorite.

I like the first three, and as was mentioned the tree, maybe try to darken it down. Nice separation on the subjects, I'd shoot more like this, it is working for you. I find the angle on the last one a little too high.

I agree on the angle in the last and the head-tree in the first. I'm really liking the manual focus feel on this 135mm f2 ais.
