Some seaside photos for c&c

Hi,

Some photos I took near the place where I live. I am not happy with them but that's the best I've been able to get

I am not interested in PP. I would simply want to know what you would have done to improve them at the time of taking.

#1: A boat (maybe a bit undersaturated/overexposed)

#2 Some stones in the sea (stones out of focus?)

#3 A log. (Why did I take this one?)

I think if you just adjust the levels in the first one it would turn out much nicer and that is hardly post processing. Otherwise the composition in them is good in 1 and 2 but 3 just has a much too boring subject. Overall they are alright pictures though.

This is what the gimp gives me after adjusting levels in auto mode. I think it looks nicer now.
