Some shots from WE

After much back and forth on which 85mm f/1.4 to get, I decided on the Nikon 85mm 1.4D.

A few shots from the weekend, all with 85mm f/1.4D and the D90.
The CA is awful (knew this was and issue) but I'm pleased. I don't find it too long on DX, which was what I was afraid of.

Nice set of photos. I've heard that lens (D is the older version, G is the newer I think) was a pretty decent bang for the buck.

Nice grab - 'D' glass is excellent value. I'm not seeing any noticeable CA in the images; it can't be too bad.

Thanks for the comments. I like the lens - definitely cheaper that the G version.
Most shot were corrected for CA in post using View NX2. Getting about 90% correction this way.
I expected it below f2.2, but I still see it in some shots at f8 which is a bit concerning.
