Some street photography

Street photography's probably my favourite form of photography. Don't usually have a go at it myself though because i've struggled to find a digital compact that could lend itself to the style. Anyway, i used a Canon G9 for these, set it to manual focus, and it was surprisingly responsive with little to no shutter lag, so I'll be out and about a lot more in future i think.

they're not the greatest, but it was a lot of fun taking them.

I know that last one is colour but it was part of the same set so i thought i'd throw it in aswell.

Nice job with these, John, # 2 is my fav. just don't get arrested because of you're crazy laws in the U.K.

looks to me like they all suffer a bit from overexposure.
second one is a cool one though.

The first one really gets my attention ... great shot.

About the 3&4 ... except the BW process which is nice ... I really dont see the subject

Love them all. Yes, the over exposure does detract a bit on some, though. Could you not have converted the last one to B&W?
