All our Australian and New Zealand members will instantly recognise that flower you photographed (where?), as it is the flower of a Bottlebrush tree, but I definitely don't know it's botanical name.

Lovely colours in the first three.

Compared to those, the figure in front of that restaurant is a bit ... blah.

Aaahhh. Bottle Brush Tree. How apt. That's exactly what it looks like. Thanks for the info. I took that photo in the Golan Heights, Israel.
I see what you mean about the clay chef, oh well, maybe I'll just post it separately sometime.
