Sony A350

Does anyone know what setting I should keep my Sony DSLR-A350 on for magazine pictures. The magazine I am now shooting for wants me to have at least a 1 Meg. picture quality but I don't know how to how to change that. I currently have it set on "Fine". Thanks in advance-

According to the owner's manual there are 6 image size choices:

[3:2]
L - 14 megapixels
M - 7.7 megapixels
S - 3.5 megapixels

[16:9]
L - 12 megapixels
M - 6.5 megapixels
S - 2.9 megapixels

With 2 JPEG quality choices:
Fine
Standard

Shooting on the Fine setting will give you image files much, much larger than 1 megapixel.
