Sony DSLR-A230 18-55mm lens

Hey guys, just bought the Sony DSLR A-230 camera. Does anybody have any experience with this camera? Any photos to share taken with this camera? Im wondering if it will be good for close up pictures (macros).

The kit lens is not all that good for very close focus.
You need a Macro lens.

The Sigma 18 to 50mm 2.8 macro would be a better lens for that camera.
