sony lens filter/mount solution

Im currently using a samyang af14/ 2.8 sony FE lens which doesn't allow filters to be used.

Im looking for a way to protect the lens from scratches ect and the only option i have managed to find are filter mount holders that cost more than the lense.

Are there any other options i could try?

Above uses 77mm filters, theres also an f/2.0 that uses 72mm, but it costs more. Either way, you give up 1mm width of FL. The f/4.0 uses the bigger filter cuz its a shift lens.
