I've never done one before, and I wonder if you guys think that I've grasped the concept properly.

Looks OK to me. I think I would like the divider in the middle to be the same size as the border though.

Thanks for the response. I did have it that way in the beginning, but it looked.... wrong. I might feel differently if I ever wanted to print these two to display together, though.

Maybe instead of making the middle thinner, make the edges wider. Just so they're the same ... play around with the thickness till it looks right.

Could just be me though, lol. It just bugs me when it's not even all the way around and through the middle.

I dont think I can call this one an effective use of it. While the two do have a common bond, it seems quite weak and the photos together seem almost out of place. Maybe because the right photo seems cut off to the point where is it distracting. Its a really interesting concept though!
