Sparky the Dog

Okay, so his name isn't really Sparky. It's Fenway, my friends Australian Shepherd. Was just playing around with the concept of doing a portrait in front of steel wool, and needed a model. Feedback welcome!

This is a composite, one shot for the dog and foreground, one for the spin in the tunnel. Wanted to make sure we kept the dog safe and he couldn't get near the sparks.

Lighting is a single speed light camera right at half power.

It's a neat concept, but for me, there's just too much going on. The graffiti, the steel-wool sparks, and the dog; almost like it should be three separate images.

I agree with tirediron. My eyes keep darting around with the first place being the steel wool, then with alarm along the lines of "OMG how did a dog get there and make sure it doesn't get burned!", and lastly trying and failing to decide if the graffiti was supposed to be a focal point or not. They all would work great alone, but its too much going on all together for me.
