What about this image makes it a nice shot? IMHO, it's nothing more than a mere snapshot.

The composition is lacking, and the processing is way too harsh. All my eyes focus on is a dead tree and large areas of pure black.

I personally like dead trees and water reflections, color. It seems overall dark to me. I'm not a fan of editing, yet. I would like to see the original unedited.

The OP might actually like a dark image, plus they might well be a very new person to photography and might not know how to edit a photo.

I like the darkness in the image, so nice one.
