Spider c&c.

^ I'm using the photo editor that comes with the d3100.

Yeah, a little too bright. Look at the spider's back right leg. That all-white, no detail is known as being blown out or over exposed. Not too bad though. I personally like a more head-on type shot when it comes to spiders, but that's really hard to do. I like the bokeh.

It seems so far away, what lens were you using? Here's a reverse-lens-macro of a spider I did for comparison (don't know why...for esses and giggles I guess):

It was harder than I thought to take a pic of a spider, I couldn’t stop shaking because I thought it was going to jump at me. lol
yeah seems over exposed btw why were u shooting @ iso800?
haha! Yeah I can see it’s over exposed. I took the pic at iso800 because I was playing around with the iso earlier in the day and I thought I had set it back to 100...

Nice! I took it with a 18-55mm lens. I got as close as i could with out freaking out o much.:D

Most spiders I've seen are not aggressive. They tend to run away. Reversing a lens causes you to get right on top of the spider and when I say "on top", I mean within just a few millimeters of it.
