Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I'm taking a few years off from shooting people, and trying to focus on what I really enjoy, nature and wildlife. Been shooting a lot of spiders lately. C&C is welcome

I do like the first - and mostly like where your light's coming from in that one!

Would love to see more subject.. either higher magnification, or crops. Too much frame, not enough spider! :)

I agree with cgipson1. I think you need to fill more of the frame with the spider. With these, my eyes hunt around the photo straining to find something to settle on and I am finding other things in the images that are holding my attention better than the spiders. I do like your lighting technique though.

Here is an old thread of mine that has some similar styled images if you are interested: http://www.thephotoforum.com/forum/nature-wildlife/279622-colors-spring.html

Very true... Those first two were more artsy fartsy images I plan on having printed up rather large so when viewing it on my wall the spider will be about the size of one's head.

Until then... how about these?

Very nice work! I loved the bee hanging from the flower... and in my opinion the first one had excellent lighting.

Thanks! I used a 580EX II hand-held off camera... chasing those little guys around with a camera in one hand and a flash in the other can make me end up like a pretzel sometimes.

I love the first one that is a great shot, the detail in the second is amazing. Thank you for sharing.
