#1 would've been awesome if you had a hand grasping the third grate from the left...... even in silohuette.

I would try shooting them with only ambient light..nice set though

#1 is hardware cloth. The squares are about 1/2 an inch diameter. I'd need an elf or something to fit a hand in there.

simo110, they were all shot with the available light, no flash, nothing else. If thats what you mean by ambient light. Correct me if I got the term wrong.

The lighting in #1 is from a window in the background, and the webs in #2 and #3 were in a window themselves. It was in the morning and all the windows face east.

Naw. I find that flash usually makes my photos suck worse, unless its sunny outside. I clearly dont know how to use it properly.
