Spontaneous shot

This is a spontaneous shot I took of my fiance. Saw her on the phone and I scrambled to get my camera and waited for a few good shots. This is the best one. I'm looking for general comments/critiques. What do you think? What would you have done differently pre and post-photoshop?

I think you made a terrific shot. It tells a whole story. Technically, I like the sepia given your obvious feelings about your subject. The head is cropped more than I would like but as a candid you should consider it a winner. Congrats.

Great capture of emotion and presence.
The areas at the borders where the crop clipped the supject is called "A Merge". I think the shot is very good except for the presence of merges.

I am actually finding out that I dont like sepia much at all. I much more prefer just a desaturated (not quite black and white) picture over sepia.
