The next photo from my little trip to Jädersbruk outside my hometown. It's a big old farm, has been kept as it was in the early 1900s. Whole place is asleep now but I will go back there when spring really start to come along!

Nice image, but why are the clouds so noisy? Maybe it will looks better if you'll crop 1/3 from the top of the image.

I was going to say the same thing about the noise...but overall, I like this image..and the nice, straight horizon.

Since it is taken at ISO 100 I am guessing the noise is from post processing. Maybe you could get by with sharpening it less?

It is a nice picture anyways. I bet that area is beautiful in the fall.

I'm guessing this is a single exposure pseudo HDR (saved in conversion from RAW at different exposures and combined as HDR and then tonemapped with Photomatix or similar) .
This type of HDR/tonemapped processing attracts a great deal of noise, especially in the smoother areas of the image, sky, flat water etc.

Try "exposure blending" rather than "HDR tone mapping", it might help with reducing the noise.

This is a good image, and certainly worth the effort.
