too much dead space, and OOF, just my noobish op pinion.

No. Not "oof". Only is DOF extremely thin in macro photography, so only a very fine line within the entire photo can be totally in focus. And focus is in the right places. Composition is lacking just a tad, though the new edit with the other flower cropped out is better, but now the dead space has become even more, which doesn't help.
If you know how TINY these flowers are, you appreciate this photo, though!
