Spring scenes in the wood (10 pics = 56k killer)

Beside the busy road that I take almost daily, there is a stretch of wood with tall trees and small trees. Those small trees have fascinated me for years and years. They are the kind that cling to their old leaves all throughout winter and never shed them until the new ones come out and "push them off".

I had always wanted to be there in time to see this happen.
Seems like after many years of planning and missing the moment, I got it last Tuesday.

you have really captured the essence of spring with this series, corinna... i especially love #5 and #7. #6 is just too funny with the old leaf being "harpooned"... nice capture! :thumbup:

Thanks for all your replies. Seems like I am getting round that (for me so far always) DIFFICULT aspect of exposure in the woods at last, after earlier attempts have always been ... yeah, let's name it: downright bad. Or so I was not happy with it. I am quite happy with these here .
