Spring Training ~ Lake Chaffee's Autumn Legacy O' Trad Finian Mac

Our soon to be 14 month old yellow Labrador Retriever gun dog trainee MAC reported in for Spring Training today. In all actuality, MAC trains nearly year 'round and that schedule is reflected in his current skill level as a young dog.

I captured this head shot of MAC this afternoon with one of the ponds at my gun club providing the perfect background.

MAC will be running in his first HRC licensed hunt test on Long Island on the weekend of May 4th and 5th, that will be the official start of his career as a K9 hunt test athlete.
