Lotsa open spaces here in the Great White North. You could take up skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating or snowmobiling.

LOL ... I'm settled here. In winter, I'm an hour from the snow. I can snow ski in the morning, surf in the afternoon, take a quick spin on my bike along the beach, catch a premier movie in Hollywood and then dine at a number of Michelin Star Restaurants in Los Angeles. Weather is the best, traffic is the worst and housing is terribly expensive, but cultural experiences are plentiful and expansive. LA is one of those major crossroads of the world.
