Springtime on the farm

Just a landscape from my parents' place over Easter holidays. The silo is about a hundred years old. I'm putting some more shots of it through post processing now, so should have a couple more over the next few days.

It is. They get about 4 or 5 cars an hour past the house. They're about 30 minutes away from the nearest McDonald's. Closest town (of 700) is about 10 min away. I hated growing up there because it was so remote, but now it's nice and peaceful to get away there...

Here's kind of an artsy one of one of the tiles on the silo. There are several dates carved into it, but this is the oldest, so I'd imagine this is either date of completion or somewhere close to it.
