Stableyard Stillness

This was taken last month when the weather was a little more agreeable and there was a bit more color in the trees. Now its cold and bare, and the leaves have gone...not exactly my favorite time of the year. Hope this brings back a little flavor of summer/fall. I was out on a traditional site seeing excursion with the wife and kids. It was one of the few times we were not rushing to some place on a time limit, and they will let me shoot landscapes at my leisure.

So how many exposures did you take for this one? (You had the time, you say, and made good use of it

).

And don't tell me about lack of colours and bare-ness out there...

3 exposures, as usual for me. I see that its looking pretty bleak where you are as well. Happy November to you!

The sky is certainly dramatic-looking in that shot! I love the position from which you took it, down low by the fence, with some of the animals present in the yard. As a previous poster said, it's a very soothing scene.
