The lines converge at different angles and when virtually every single line that is meant to be vertical is at a different angle, this amount of perspective distortion really hurts the picture.
This is a standard kind of shot but, because of the lack of depth to shoot, needs a lot more perspective control than one can do with a dslr and lens.
