My picutres keep coming out very pink and soft. At least this time I can see my daugther's baby blues. But I wish it was crisp.

Well, it's definitely pink...

But then, everything in the picture is pink............

I think that it might be slightly overexposed, so add a bit of dark and maybe a touch of contrast, resharpen, and it should be a good photo....

no post processing, I am trying to learn to take a better picture first.

are you shooting RAW? if so, it is almost always necessary to do some PP'ing.

That's at ISO 800 also, so that would contribute to some softness in the photo.
