I think this needs to be a portrait aspect rather than a landscape, with more of the bottom of the bowl visible. As well, you've got some nasty blown highlights on the glass, but that aside, it's a nice shot.

Lol. Sorry OP, not trying to take away from your shot yours is well executed and I really liked the idea until I realised that it wasn't very original.

You're exactly right. That is where I saw a similar shot. He also had one with flowers.

Fokker - I had actually never seen that shot before. An earlier poster was correct in saying I saw it in "Understanding Exposure".
