Street Entertainers in Chester

On my recent visit to Chester, I met a couple of street artists who have very kindly posed for my photos and given me permission to use these on my website....

Well, it's kind of a pity that in most cases the subject is slightly out of focus and the background is totally in focus... They look nice and colourful - well, the balloon artist does. The musician looks a bit ... sad. Can you change the apertures on the camera you use? With a wide open one, you could possibly have thrown the background into blurriness to have the subject stand out more.
