I really like #2. And #3, try fooling with the levels and see how rich you can get thos blacks and highlights.

Well, duncanp, I agree with what DuncanK thinks about the green, it doesn't do too much for me, either, but I like the b+w version of your photo!

How did you create the second photo?

i used the levels in elements by selecting each colour and moving the sliders, then i duplicate the orginal and boost the saturation and then set that layer to hard light. if it doesnt look right you can add a photo filter as well
