Yeah, they aren't the most versatile of lights though.

Think of it this way. For $150, that can get you started in a small home studio and you can begin learning. If you find they are not enough for you in 6 months, then you upgrade and save those lights for backdrop lights or something like that. Spend the $$ and start playing around and learning.
