Sub forum

Could a sub forum be created in Photography Equipment & Products for third party lenses?
I think it would reduce multiple post about the same topic and might make it easier for people coming to the site looking for advice on lenses to find it.

It's unlikely to prevent repeat questions and it could be confusing for some. The thing is a 3rd party lens might perform similarly on Canon and Nikon cameras, but at the same time within each of those systems it might have a different relative performance to the own brand offerings. It also might perform a little differently with regard to the AF system of the different brands.

The only way would be to have a 3rd party section for each of the main camera brands, which is quite a few subsections in all truth.
