Could any one please let me know what is focus motor all about. It is the technology which is available in Canon EOS 600 D and its lacks in Nikon D3200. Does it make any difference in photography...
The Canon EOS System doesnt have any autofocus motors in the body.

Basically for Canon EOS all lenses have an autofocus motor built in. They are all "AF-S", in Nikon terms.

The problem is simply that Nikon supports a mount started in 1959, while Canon discarded its previous mount in 1987 and started from scratch with EOS.

Thus all Canon EOS lenses have a builtin motor and do not have an aperture control. While for Nikon, both is only true for the "AF-S G" lenses (AF-S means builtin [silent/hypersonic] motor, G means gelded aka no aperture control).
