Summer farewell

With fall setting in most of the aquatic plants

have lost their flowers and the leaves are in the last stages of shriveling up and dying back, with only the Fragrant Water Lilies still blooming. The trees change their colors sooner up here than down in the valleys. Here's some farewell photos taken up at my favorite little mountain lake/bog as Autumn starts to make itself evident.

Some really nice seasonal colours, particularly in the first there and the water lilies are very well exposed.

Very nice set. I almost did the same thing yesterday while looking at a small pond with lilies looking beautiful like that but I thought to myself, nah, I'll have to switch out lenses, maybe another day.
That's what I get for being lazy, you beat me to it. Good job.
