Hey guys -
It's my summer vacation, so I'm pretty much stuck at home all day, but I still want to take photos! Any good ideas for indoor photography? SHould I set up a mini studio (in a shoebox or something) and take cool macro shots? How would I do this? I need ideas!!!

:hail:

Last table top studio I built was using coathangers for a frame. duct tape and cardboard to for a base. Also a piece of muslen (bed sheet borrowed from my wife. (make that exwife) Make a sort of mini lean to set the stobe up to fire down on the lean to for light and set my things in it. I had tiny bears and spools of thread ect. Light came almost straight down on the objects inside.

Put the subject into an esky. You get a white background and if you bounce light in there very smooth lighting too.

An esky? An Australian term perhaps - care to translate for the rest of the English speaking world? ;)

Would a wild guess that says "cool box" be far off?
