BTW, it's pointless to feed a troll.
You will get roughed up occasionally here--comes with the territory. But as an old sensei of mine advised,"Always be willing to present yourself for rejection."
Volume-wise, I can only suggest that 3-4 choice shots will attract more positive attention and comments.

Perhaps using "PIC HEAVY" in the title would help. I think I've seen that used here before. Shoulda mentioned this in my earlier post but it slipped my mind.

Thanks a lot for your advice — I’ll keep that in mind. As long as I’m not violating any rules, I have nothing to worry about. But when a comment goes out of line, I will speak up — especially if it turns into a personal attack.

My point here isn’t about someone criticizing the number of photos I posted. What I’m addressing is why he felt the need to judge my ability just because I posted many pictures, and because I’m not a professional photographer. As an architect, I’m confident that I know how to capture a structure properly and choose the right angles.

Wow, what an incredible location, and well captured. There are many really interesting compositions and moments captured in all of these, and I for one really appreciate seeing the differences between every one of them, especially the difference between the hard lines created by the direct sun, and the softer lines in other shots created from diffused sunlight. Well done.

I think I would have a lot of fun doing a portrait session here with the available light. You could get really creative with these patterns!

There is SO much attention nowdays on Tiktok and IG - Reels, Shorts, consuming media... If someone wants to post 14 images of his trip to this iconic spot - who are we to say no ! Enjoy the fact that this guy shoots. If its a rule or something for the forum then by all means keep the count down a bit, maybe just post the best 5-7. But guys this guy is excited about photography ! Isn't that why were here ?

Thanks for standing up for me — really appreciate it. I just wanted to share the full experience from that spot.

If the forum prefers fewer images, I can definitely keep it to the best next time. But I’m really glad you understood the intention behind the post. We’re all here because we enjoy shooting, and it means a lot that you saw it that way.

It's definitely not a rule here at all, and I for one really appreciate large photo sets, but there are a handful of members who get all bent out of shape and become very unpleasant when others post what they deem to be too many photos in their own threads, or when they think someone posts too often. It has absolutely caused me to share significantly less of my work on TPF and makes participating here much less enjoyable than it used to be.

I agree with you. Honestly, I don’t understand why some people get bothered when someone posts a lot or shares big photo sets. It’s a photography forum — sharing work should be the whole point. If someone wants to post often, what’s the problem? It doesn’t hurt anyone. I really don’t get the reason behind feeling annoyed about it.

Unfortunately there are a few on TPF who make a regular habit of trying to stop others from sharing their work here unless you share it exactly the way they want you to, and will insult you if you don't, all the while having zero authority to tell anyone here what to do.

Agree! There are definitely times when advice about presentation can be helpful, but the moment it turns into insults or gatekeeping, the discussion stops being about photography. Forums are usually better when people focus on sharing knowledge and discussing images rather than telling others how they should participate.

I really like your photos, the B/W makes it dramatic. Don't take seriously those who take themselves soooo seriously.
My suggestion is, should you chose to accept it , is to post your photos in series of, say 4 or 5, then few day later just update you thread. I did this a while ago with my post of "Stormy anchorage". Few photos one day so the viewers are not overwhelmed, then few days later update with few more photos...
