This is one of the more famous places to catch sunrise in Taiwan and so happened to be only 25min from my grandparent's place. The uniqueness to this spot isn't about capturing the sun, but the mist among the bamboo forest as the sun's ray pierce through the bush. The dirt here is also quite unique, not sure what the geology term is, but it's very dry and clay-like, more easily eroded and forms an alien planet like landscape. Bamboo seems to be the only plant that grows here.
Shot with 28-300mm, so photo quality sucks really, but it's the only telephoto lens I have and I rarely use telephoto, so I'll just stick with this.
