Sunset at Foggintor Quarry

Afternoon all,

Here's my first photo submission to the forum, taken at Foggintor Quarry on Dartmoor back in February. I love having Dartmoor just down the road, with so many places to explore and photograph, but Foggintor has quickly become one of my favourite spots. At the time, I actually thought I was wasting my time and effort in getting this shot as there was a bit too much cloud about for my liking, not to mention a bitterly cold wind, but actually it turned out to be my favourite landscape shot to date.

Shaun, looks like it was worth braving the cold, shot really came out nice. I'm often surprised by which pictures I think are going to be favorites that aren't and vise versa.
