Super new negative storage

I have black and white negatives and color slides stored under similar conditions more than 50 years, in Print File archival sleeves and archival boxes from Light Impressions - all are yet pristine. You have no cause to worry.
Side question if I have them in a filing cabinet as long as they are in archival sleeves and some other archival container I'm using the snap binder from print file, it shouldn't matter the material of the filing cabinet right in regards to compromising them right ? Since it's just a secondary container ? I figure most people have them on carpet or wood in closets inside of archival boxes so must not matter ?

If it’s inside the house it will be fine. Dry, room temp in sleeves and not mashed tight to each other = perfect conditions.
