Swallow or....?

[Winona]

This was taken next to the marina at Jackson Lake. Do they look like swallows? The mother was a swallow but I remember thinking at the time that these two seemed larger than they should be. They were very photogenic so I was happy. Gave me something to do waiting for our dinner cruise to start.

Interesting! They really pack'em in there, don't they!

great shot...where is this

Nice capture. They really look like very, very, very small baby seals with beaks and clawed feet. I'm sure if the mother was a Swallow then the chicks are too - birds aren't promiscuous.

Well I know some birds lay their eggs in other nests and let a different bird do all the work, but doubt they would go into a swallow nest. . Thanks for all the replies. Photo Lady- this was at Jackson Lake in the Tetons.

It looks like a nest of the type that barn swallows make.
