To witness "Alpenglühen" must be even more impressive in reality than it is in photos, though there is no denying that it is also QUITE impressive in photos! Your photo here, for that matter!!!

My favourite this time, however, is the afternoon forest. I just love how the sun from in front of you shines through the trees and lights up the pine needles from "within".

Although the one of the bench inviting us to enjoy the view (which we do even though we are BEHIND that bench :greenpbl: ) is also really nice. One more good deed in favour of the Swiss Tourist Board, heehee.

Switzerland is the most beautiful place I have ever been in my life and I think these photos do a pretty good job of showing it! Did you get a chance to go on the cog railway to the top of the Jungfrau? When I went I stayed in Grindelwald.
