SX40 Vs HX100V Or Others?

Hey guys, right now I'm stumped, I don't know weather to get the hx100v or sx40v. I basically want either one for video recording..so far it looks like the hx100v looks more professional and movie like from the videos I've seen on Youtube, it has manual focus by just turning the ring, while the sx40 has better zoom and autofocus. I also want to be able to take good pictures too, but the video is the important part. Is there any other camera in the same price range that can record the same quality or better?
