22year old Bosnian male here. Going to a Bosnian concert in Toronto with some much older friends. Take XSi (kit 18-55 lens), yes or no. I haven't been to a concert since I bought this last year and so haven't faced this decision before.

I just don't want to be perceived weirdly.

Thoughts? I'm leaving in a few minutes.

Well, if you want memories of this evening then yes. If you want to try taking band/performing arts type photos then yes.

Do you know whether they'll even let you take the camera in? I've been to concerts before where no cameras were allowed inside.

Nothing like planning ahead. Hope you will be close to the stage. Is your battery charged? Have fun at the concert. Post pics soon.

Well I decided to bring the camera and had a great time at the concert. The singer's name is Dino Merlin and he's a big pop star in Bosnia, and former Yugoslavia in general.

Here are some of the pics, first ones I've ever posted. I must say that a f5.6 lens is not the best thing for concerts. I really wish I had something faster.

Thank god for live view!!!!
