Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
This is one of the photos we found when cleaning out our attic. I must have taken it about 50 years ago, with my Nikon F (just "F"!). The image was about 81/2 x 11 and not in very good shape. I took a quick shot of it with my iPhone and then cleaned it up a bit in Photos. I still think that is about the best smile I've ever captured.

Makes me smile.

Is it the gloss that's not in such great condition? Might be able to run it through some fixer and fix it right up! I have, only with my own darkroom prints, haven't tried it on a vintage photo. I'd probably trim off an edge to try and later crop/trim the photo a little. (I've been going through old family photos and that's mostly what needs a bit of restoration.)

Maybe he's just helping out the family?

I have a very old photo of my grandfather as a small boy riding in the horse-drawn, bread-delivery cart being driven by my great-grandfather. As the story went, he would help his dad before going to school in the morning.

I was just kidding about him working. I thought the wink would be a give away.

Ooohhh, I'm too old to notice those things....
