Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hello all -

I am a small business owner who is used to wearing many hats and adopting many skillsets. I own an online store and have some experience in photography. In order to save on costs, I would like to begin taking my own product photos. They don't need to be perfect, but being able to take many shots from many angles, in several combinations will provide immense flexibility for me over having to pay hundreds for just one photo via a photographer.

I would appreciate hearing from the experts here, what materials would be needed to set up a photo like the one below? Do I want an open white box with white base, back, and sides? A certain light? Two lights? What type and brand? I realize there is a dropshadow in the image below which i can accomplish with photoshop.

Thanks so much!

That image isn't a photograph, it's a CGI image.

Dear Police Officer:

I don't need to check the FAQ. I own the image. But thanks a bunch for your helpful input on the question posed. I do appreciate all the advice you gave. Thanks for responding.

Dear other individual:

Its not a CGI image. Its a photograph that was touched up in Photoshop.

Dear last individual:

Thanks for actually responding to the question. At least someone did.
