Talking Ads

I just heard a talking ad on this site. There's nothing that annoys me more than talking ads and nothing that will be a surer way to drive me away from this site. I'm not having it. I respectively beg the mods/administrator to attempt to deter the owners from allowing these. This is my favorite site on the web, please don't let them ruin it.

As far as I know...
The adds on the site are 'by Google'. So it's not as if the owners are hand picking which ads appear on the site. The ads that you see, are based on your own browsing history.

As for the talking ads, that is something I've seen happen on other sites. The advertisers are sneaky and they slip in some talking ads when they aren't supposed to.

I'm not sure what we can do, or who we can report this to....I think it would have to be the owners sending a report to Google. But I'm sure they will do just that if it continues to be an issue.

I agree with Bentcountershaft. There simply is NO need fro HAVING to mute our computers for the sake of some crap advert. Aren't there enough on tv?

I agree ads with sounds are annoying. Not because I will get in trouble, I own my own company and I can browse whatever, whenever. However, I would imagine lots of people browse at work and don't need random sounds disrupting their co-workers. That is why I don't have music on my website. I don't want a potential client closing my site while they browse at their desk on their lunch break ( or not, you slackers know who you are ) If it is something the owners can do something about then great, but if they can't I'm not going to boycott the forum.
