The exposures really aren't working for me in these two; the first is almost a silhouette, and the second has way too much contrast.

the first one i actually was trying to get a silhouette... in the second I ramped up the contrast to try and express the fact that it was a bright hot sunny day...

heheh i think that I should have express those facts at the start....
