Just bought a Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 lens non VC with Pro1 polarizer from ebay. This is the first shot that I took with this lens and my Canon 7D. Its a HDR from 3 exposure with the polarizer on (This is the 2nd time I try on HDR). I am amazed by how much flare had taken out from the water.

Please feel free to comment. Any suggestion how I use this lens to it best potential?

Thank you for looking guys.

from my perspective, the right side of the photo is terribly tilting, well at least the horizon

Polarizers are great tools! Very nicely executed HDR; none of that cartoony/modern-art appearance that so many have. I do agree with the above however, it is in desperate need of leveling; the water from the canal is running all over my desk.

Thank you guys. Is it better now?

The horizon looks much better! The only thing that won't look straight now, is the boat.. but you can't always have a PERFECT photo! I like it much better now!

We may be viewing lens distortion here as both sides of the first pic are falling off but more-so to the left. I find the second image more disconcerting than the first.

I think the HDR looks great, very subtle. If you hadn't told me I never would have known.
