  • I bought a used Tamron 24-70mm G2 for my Canon 5D Mark III and tried to calibrate the autofocus using Tamron Tap-in Console. After hours of trial and error, it looks like I got the sharp or good enough focuses on all focal lengths 24mm, 35mm, 50mm and 70mm at 1 ft, 3 ft distance. But I can't tell if the infinity focuses are correct/sharp enough. For this infinity, the distance between the camera and subject was 14 ft. I put the camera on tripod, ISO 250, f2,8 (widest), shutter 1/160-250. The images are attached. I tried to focus on the eye of the lower mannequin. Can you guys tell if they are sharp? I am planning to use the lens for weddings in low lights (I know I can shoot with higher aperture). There is nobody around me who shoots with this lens so I cannot compare. I would really appreciate your help. Please feel free to add any tip to get better focus with lens.
    Thank you for your help.
