Tamron 28-75mm f2.8

Ahh I'm still torn between the two. The Tamron again, has wonderful reviews and a great price. Yet the Canon is an L series for cryin out loud. The build quality, size, and quiet auto focus are a huge plus. Any more input?

I had the Tamron 28-75 and was very happy with it in general. I wanted something wider as I found on my crop camera 28mm wasn't enough. I sold it and got the Tamron 10-24 and 17-50 lenses. I kind of wish I had kept the 28-75 and not gotten the 10-24. I may get another 28-75 at some point. If the focal length works for you, I think you'll be well pleased with one.

I'm not a high performance, fast focusing, weather sealed kinda user, so keep that in mind. But I have been quite happy with it.
