- Can others edit my Photos

I picked up a Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 lens and I love it. However, I am not able to update the firmware on the lens on my macbook air. TapIN utility does not seem to work, not sure if there is something I am missing? I would appreciate any help from others that own the lens and have a mac. Thanks!
