Tamron 28-75mm

I just went thru this entire process of lens shopping for something in this range. Decided on the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro, my LCS matches most online prices so I was able to buy local for $469. The zoom was really stiff, almost to the point of being annoying, but now has a great feel to it. Only thing I didn't pay attention to was the 82mm filter size, thats costing me....

I was considering the Nikon, but the Sigma really meets my needs and I couldn't justify the cost difference
