Hi,
I looking for some advice for these lenses, which do you think is better for canon eos 60d:
Tamron SP 17-50mm f/2.8 VC Di II Lens or Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4 DC Macro OS HSM
thank you

You're comparing apples to oranges...and you didn't tell us what your intended use is, so it's really impossible to answer your question.

Ive done some looking around for a pentax mount lens which included both these lenses. The Tamron was higher on my list. Then again, it depends what you wantto do.

Tamron, hands down. It's a great lens. The 17-70 isn't even a fixed f-stop lens.... like the other person said, apples to oranges!

Tough choice. I have the Sigma 17-70 and love it ! It's very sharp it's my vacation lens now.

I also agree that the Tamron is better. I've owned the same lens for a couple years now and it's simply amazing. I'm surprised it doesn't cost more for the quality it gives in my images. I always recommend this lens to other photographers and it's worth it for the low price.
